2 weeks after getting my MacBook back from Apple due to the fan problem, my fan suddenly died again.

000 rpm on SMCfancontrol, 0 rpn on Fan Control (System Pref). Exhaust problem on Hardware Test. Tired of repeating my problem to Apple Singapore, I searched the web for the location of the fan. After 5 mins on my 84C mac, i located the problematic part. 

and i wacked that area

yup, i gave the top mid section of my mac a hard knock. smcFanControl suddenly read 500rpm and quickly went up to 4000rpm.

Violence does not solve everything, but it sure does solve my mac fan!

Later while following mud to the toilet (FMS lvl9… duh), I noticed the mirrors and wanted to take a shot.

I stood infront of mud’s cubicle and just as i was about to take the shot… he came out and ‘WTF-ed’

Last thing u’ll expect to see once you open the cubicle…

So ya… My Cam n Lightning shots are not done yet. Supposed to be on the train to school now but im having second thoughts. Its a sunday! Schools don’t open on sunday… right?

Anyway im stuck at home waiting for ahmad to confirm if school is open. If its not then must find a new location to shoot. Oh… and the tamron 90mm marco i collected ytd is gonna go to waste…

Anyway macro lens are cool stuff. Now im considering of getting the canon 50mm macro…

so like… im stressed? Today was really unproductive. I spend 30 mins in the cage trying to get my Kolbold lights, only to be told that theres a set missing.

Like WTF? I chionged booking one week ago when there was confirm 6 sets? Wheres my frikkin lightning?

Turns out that CTV (some ulu CCA of sorts that no one knows about) checked out the set WITHOUT GOING THRU THE SYSTEM. Even if this low lifed inconsiderate uncivilized move is used… i wouldn’t mind IF IT WASN’T THE KOLBOLD!!! WTF man, this sem ALL the fsv classes are taking “Camera n Lightning” so that means EVERYONE will be using the Kolbold…. AND CTV TAKES OUT THE KOLDBOLD FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT FILMING. Seriously man… theres like the Red Head kit which the cage has loads of? WHY MUST YOU TAKE THE KOLBOLD WHICH WE 100% NEED FOR OUR TINY SUBJECTS?

Seriously the booking system must be revamped to ensure equal usage among students. Inconsiderate students are killing off the TSOs. Thankfully they are understanding to give me a different type of lightning kit. Its much better than the Kolbold but soooo inconvenient. Stand and Lights are separated, and packing the lights and cables into the box makes Tetris look like childs play. but still…. TSOs you rock! If not for this i’ll kiss my assignment 1 goodbye.

(And theres the fucking Mbox hogging issue. Cos of tat i haven even started recording. Inconsiderate ppl again, i won’t say who. Hope u feel guilty and change.)

zzz I also did SaiKang work for SGNewWave… like at the wrong timing. Had to rush photos… even until now oso haven shoot finish. Will have to go sch tmr to chiong.

The Mac loan unit seriously sucks. Last generation 1.83Ghz Macbook with 512 RAM. The cheapest unit of the lot. MSN + Safari (with 2 tabs) = da Rainbow wheel of death. Now I know why it doesn’t come with Adobe CS2.

And so… yea. SGNewWave website put on hold as i use my sMackBook.

Massive GG. My mac fan died. Can’t do nuts on my mac for more than 5mins.

Now im chionging aircon and fan for my mac. Backing up all my stuff while it wavers between 80 degree celsius and the GG point.

WTF i tried to Apple + C again. This is dumb. Service centers close on sunday.

Lol Thank God i got some plastic model glue lying around. Managed to glue the charger head back together, and now it is as strong as new (or maybe even more secure).
